Founded in 2017, Tactile aims to spread awareness and celebrate the craft of sign painting through an immersive annual event to satisfy letter lovers of all kinds, encouraging collaboration, learning and skill sharing within the trade.

Tactile is a collaborative project between Tyler & Co. and Hana Sunny Studio, and exhibits in an exciting pop-up event space in London once a year. Alongside the exhibition and shop, Tactile hosts panel discussions, workshops and paint jams to coincide with the event, inviting the public to enagage with the signwriting community.

alphabetics anonymous

Alphabetics Anonymous are a collective of signwriters and lettering artists.

Founded by Toucan Signs, we began as a guild and support group for signwriters in London – somewhere to turn for advice, tips and complaints about carrying ladders on public transport. Over the last 3 years Alphabetics have continued this legacy, organising various signwriter’s meets and social events, as well as running a quarterly newsletter ‘The Daily Mahl’.

Alphabetics also collaborate on various large-scale group projects. Here we can offer a unique service, combining our knowledge and individual styles, drawing from a variety of creative backgrounds.

Galphabetics is the sister collective to Alphabetics Anonymous, founded by members Mia Warner & Hana Sunny Studio.

Galphabetics aims to nurture and welcome women and female-identifying signwriters into a traditionally male industry. With events for all abilities, ages and experiences, the our intention is to create an open, encouraging space for us to learn together, share stories and network.
