Murals & interior wayfinding for The Old Joint Stock pub & theatre in Birmingham.
The designs for this series of four murals in the dramatic main bar are inspired by the building the pub is housed in, as the historic former Joint Stock Bank. Working with the original architecture of the interior, and painted in an aged style, the artwork references the intricate design of old bank notes, cheques and ephemera related to the trade.
The scheme also features signwritten wayfinding signage throughout the pub, and a feature piece in the function room.
